Brown Bag Herb Bread

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 Tablespoons chopped green onion tops
1 Tablespoon chopped celery tops
1 teaspoon dried sweet basil
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 loaf white bread, unsliced
TO PREPARE:
1. Mix butter, parsley, onions, celery, basil and lemon juice until smooth and soft.
2. Trim off ends of bread and top crust. Slice bread part of the way through loaf, leaving slices attached at the bottom.
3. Spread butter mixture between bread slices. Wrap loaf in a brown paper bag and tie up with a string. Let sit overnight.
4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
5. Bake in bag for 30 minutes. Serve warm.
