Grampa’s Mushroom Pie
2 cups sautéed mushrooms
3 T butter
3 T flour
Liquid from mushrooms and enough milk or cream to make 1 ¾ cups
½ t salt
Dash white pepper
1 c sautéed onion
Unbaked pie shell for dough and top
Drain mushrooms and save liquid. Make a cream sauce of the butter, flour, liquid and milk or cream. Add salt, pepper and onion.
Add mushrooms to sauce and put into pie shell. Cover the pie shell with dough. Bake at 350 for 45 – 50 min.
