Tonie's tried and true Recipes

Bread Pudding by Shirley Cohlhepp

2 C bread
1 pint of milk
pinch of salt
1/2 C raisins
3 eggs
2 t margarine
1/2 t vanilla
1/4 t cinnamon

Soak bread in milk until soft. Beat eggs until light. Add other ingredients w/ melted margarine. Add to bread and milk. Pour into buttered baking dish. Set pan into another with water. Bake at 275* for about 1 1/2 hrs.
