Dumplings

1 1/2 C flour
2 t baking powder
3/4 C milk
1/2 t salt
3 t liquid shortening

Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in the shortening and milk. Drop by the spoonful into liquid, allowing room to expand. Cool uncovered for 10 minutes on high then covered for 10 minutes on medium.
